Is the Dye I4 Good for Airsoft

Dye i4 Airsoft – Is It Worth It?

Is this the best full-face airsoft mask? The Dye i4

Fed upward with your masks fogging upward? Aforementioned with me. I started off using total seal goggles with an boosted mesh mask to encompass the lower one-half of my face up, simply this caused a hell of a lot of problems for me during games. The mesh mask although roomy, would notwithstanding force moisture/condensation upwards into my goggles, fogging them up to the betoken I couldn't see. I usually play at a local CQB site in the dark so this was incredibly abrasive. The sometime soap trick wouldn't fifty-fifty work, as they would eventually fog up, and the soap would make it even worse. This was such a problem I would accept to go into the safe room every 10 minutes or then just because I couldn't see out of my eye pro. Information technology got to the point where I couldn't play. The combination of separate face protection was incredibly uncomfortable besides, as I'd take to re-arrange the 3-4 straps across my head every few minutes.

There are a few other options with full confront masks; some cheaper options are the no brand full masks that have i strap that loops around your caput. These have mesh eyelets and vent holes for your oral cavity. I ended up non going for 1 of those, as there'due south a split in-between the eyes and the lower confront protection, pregnant it would have hands broken and left me with an unprotected confront. I too had a few people tell me a few local sites had to end using them because they weren't capable of stopping shut shots, meaning the mesh protecting your eyes wouldn't terminate a bb from going through. This was enough for me to not buy one.

At that place are besides these no-name masks that seem to be more protective as they have a thick fibreglass design on the front, with either a zombie or a baseball style type mask that's painted. These masks do expect cool but they still use mesh in the optics, and I was told that sometimes shards of bb's could notwithstanding penetrate if they striking the difficult metallic and finer shred themselves through the pocket-sized mesh holes in the eye protection. I've had bb's shatter through my mesh mask earlier so I really didn't want the chance of small-scale plastic shards travelling 350fps towards my optics.

Then I finally decided to await at the Dye mask for my airsoft mask. Specifically, the Dye i4 equally it had some colourways with reflective visors, which looked pretty cool. The i4 has vertical vents to let wet out whilst even so having a total wraparound design. The i4 has a mentum strap too which is really good for holding onto your head when your running or rolling, information technology's so much meliorate than the cheaper ones considering they terminate up rolling up on your face and they get loose. The manner the strap tightens on your head is more comfortable than whatsoever other airsoft mask I've ever used.

The thermal lens has a special blanket that stops the visor from fogging upward, this was such a skillful option on the mask because I played a solid 7 hours and I never had any fogging issues with the i4, I would never have been able to do that with my sometime goggles.

The i4 has a co-moulded frame which makes information technology an platonic airsoft mask, co-moulding only ways the visor is a moulded office of the mask, meaning there's no glue holding information technology in, it's the moulded plastic that was set around the visor. It basically ways the visor has less adventure of being shot out or knocked out by the impact, considering it's held in around with all touch points on the visor

The i4 has an inbuilt polycarbonate lens too, rather than having a large screen of metal mesh, the polycarbonate comes in i sheet meaning you get a dainty unobstructed view and it'south perfectly clear, the first fourth dimension I had the mask on I could simply notice the slight tint from the cogitating blanket, simply the bodily clarity was amazing. You lot usually end up with some baloney from cheaper masks but the i4 was incredibly articulate. The polycarbonate is incredibly strong too, the actually mask is ASTM certified, significant information technology's gone through loads of national rubber tests to make sure it's actually a valid mask for ballistic sports. The mask is designed for paintball but it'due south perfect for airsoft too. The foam lining around the mask makes it so comfortable, and as I said, I had it on for a skilful 7 hours and it really had no pinch points on my head.

I concluded up going for the blackness/thermal gold one equally the gold cogitating lens looked really nice. The dye range of masks all comes in great colours, with different lenses to mix it up. They have articulate lenses too only the cogitating lenses are awesome, especially when you're in a game, there a definite cool factor when you're wearing mirrored lenses.

Black and gold aren't for everyone, and then these are the other colours in that location available in:

Black / Thermal Gold

Thermal Blackness

Thermal Camo

Thermal Grayness

Thermal UL

Thermal Skin

White / Thermal Gilt

Airstrike Orangish

Airstrike Scarlet
